Why Does the Product Volume Look Different?

If you’ve noticed that your product looks like it has more or less in the bag compared to a previous purchase, don’t worry. This usually comes down to weight vs. volume.

We Measure by Weight, Not Volume

All of our products are filled based on weight, not on how full the bag looks.

That means:

• Every bag contains the exact same amount by weight

• The nutritional value and serving size remain consistent and accurate

Why the Volume Can Look Different

The appearance of the product inside the bag can vary due to something as simple as the grind size.

For example:

• A finer grind will be heavier (density) and settle more compactly, and may look like there’s less in the bag

• A coarser grind takes up more space (volume) and may make the bag appear fuller

Even though the volume looks different, the actual weight is exactly the same.

About Grind Consistency & Packaging Information

The fineness of the grind can vary slightly from batch to batch, and we make note of this on the back of our packaging.
